Proclinical is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities during and after carve-out and divestment processes. This role focuses on indirect procurement categories such as technology, logistics, professional services, and MRO. You will play a key role in optimizing procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement activities related to carve-outs, including due diligence, planning, and execution.
  • Ensure smooth transition and integration of systems and services during carve-outs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  • Conduct strategic sourcing by evaluating suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in indirect procurement categories.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supplier, contractual, and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, automation, quality, finance, and legal to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain procurement performance metrics and provide insights through data analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies and best practices.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor management.
  • Experience in managing procurement aspects of business divestments, including planning and execution.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, MS Office Suite, and ERP systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with adaptability and resilience under pressure.
