Proclinical is recruiting for a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional technical support. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on end-user support and service desk operations. The position is based in Belgium and offers a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for Windows, Linux, and Mac systems.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Intune, Jamf, and Ubuntu Landscape.
Install, configure, and maintain network components such as firewalls, VPN/ZTNA, IPSEC, switches, DNS, DHCP, and Meraki WIFI.
Ensure network integrity and security through internal backups, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
Monitor system performance for optimal operation and security.
Research and recommend improvements for networked computer and cloud-based server systems.
Document IT infrastructure, assets, and processes for employee use.
Set up employee accounts and IT requirements.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in IT systems (Windows, Linux, Mac) and infrastructure.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Office 365, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Experience in corporate IT support roles with a focus on end-user support.
Familiarity with networks, databases, and patch management.
Strong understanding of security issues and prevention methods.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple workloads and IT projects.
Innovative thinker adaptable to fast-paced environments.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
