Senior DevOps Engineer

Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in both Germany and Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• You will deploy updates and fixes and offer level 2 technical assistance.
• Form tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
• The ideal candidate will develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production errors and solve technical problems.
• Responsible for designing processes for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a computer science, engineering or pertinent discipline.
• Familiarity within civil engineering or customer experience.
• Acquaintance within developing/engineering applications for a large organisation.
• Prior involvement in a DevOps engineering or similar software engineering position.
• Competence in Git and GitHub workflows.
• Expertise on either Ruby or Python.
• Know-how of databases and SQL.
• Able to resolve issues.
• Works well both independently and in a team.
