Proclinical is seeking a passionate and problem-solving Senior Data Engineering & Data Platform Consultant. This role is perfect for those who have a knack for addressing challenges using the most suitable technologies and methods. The key areas of focus include data engineering, cloud environment, and platform architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Solve customer challenges using appropriate technologies and methods.
- Utilize various data engineering technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Hadoop, Spark, Python, Data Lakes, and Databricks.
- Handle large data sets using various database technologies.
- Set up and automate data pipelines, shape the architecture, and manage data extraction, loading, and transformation.
- Work in a cloud environment, ideally Azure or AWS, and manage platform architecture.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and different customers.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- Practical consulting and project experience with a results-oriented mentality.
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in German or French and English.
- Certification for Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake is a plus.
