Senior Cyber Defense Engineer/Consultant

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Consultant to contribute to the technical and strategic development of the Cyber Defence Centre (CDC). The role involves supporting various IT departments in the realm of cyber security, ensuring comprehensive engineering and consulting in security development. The successful candidate will also be involved in Cyber Security Management (CSM) projects and measures and will play a key role in defining new technologies, processes, and interfaces within the CDC.

Responsibilities:

• Be jointly responsible for the technical and strategic development of the Cyber Defence Centre (CDC)
• Provide comprehensive engineering and consulting in security development
• Maintain and further develop the tools and processes used in the CDC
• Automate repetitive analyst work using security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR)
• Actively participate in Cyber Security Management (CSM) projects and measures
• Define new technologies, processes and interfaces inside and outside the CDC
• Support the operation and further development (automation) of organization-wide exposure management

Key Skills and Requirements:

• University degree in computer science, ideally with a specialization in cyber security or equivalent vocational training
• Practical experience in cyber security development and security consulting
• Fluency in German
• A "hands on" mentality with the necessary technical affinity
• Strong communication and mediation skills
