Proclinical is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud-based platforms. The successful candidate will also coach developers in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, patterns, and security best practices, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud-based platforms on Azure
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Coach developers in building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement DevOps best practices
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance, reliability, and security
- Automate tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tooling
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices
- Stay current with latest technologies and drive continuous improvement
Key Skills and Requirements
- Swiss/ EU Passport or Swiss Permit
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Medical Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- Extensive experience with a major hypervisor (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Experience in cloud environment operations, including identity and access management, policy design, resource allocation, monitoring, and alerting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high quality standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English; strong German proficiency is a plus
- Experience in MedTech or another regulated industry is a plus
