Senior Associate Scientist

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist for a wonderful team working to cure neurogenerative diseases in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge about cellular biology and biochemical techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of scientists to design and execute experiments to support the development of drugs.
• The Senior Associate Scientist will be responsible for the cellular assay development, characterization, mechanism of action studies.
• Work with cell lines, tissue culture and utilize molecular techniques like qPCR, PCR etc.

Skills and Requirements:

• The Senior Associate Scientist should be able to independently work on cell lines, protein detection, cell manipulation, ELISA and Western blotting.
• Masters or PhD in cell biology or a related field is a must.
• The successful candidate will have worked 3-5 years independently in a research environment.
• Must be able to work together in a team and have good communication skills.
