Proclinical seeking a Scientist - Molecular Biology for a leading pharmaceutical company located in Boston, MA.

This individual will contribute to the experimental design, execution, and data interpretation for various ex vivo and in vitro assays and possess a strong ability to thrive in a collaborative team in a time-sensitive environment.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

Optimization of novel assays involving RNA and DNA sequencing in addition to quantification
Extracting nucleic acids and various QC methods by qPCR, automated/non-automated electrophoresis, and fragment analysis
Design and execution of PCR, genotyping, and/or RNA-seq to assist with cell line characterization
Proper use of sterile technique and organization and general maintenance of lab space
Clearly document experimental workflows and data records in ELN
Communicating, presenting, and discussing the data to immediate team and upper management as needed.
Ability to help with lab management needs

Skills and Requirements:

Extensive knowledge and experience with nucleic acid biochemistry
Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with molecular biology techniques
Ability to follow protocols, SOP, safety practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent documentation skills, strong organizational skills
Ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
PhD in Biochemistry or related field with 1+ years of relevant lab experience or MS with 3+ years experience
Job title will be commensurate with experience
