SAP FICO Consultant - Germany (Remote)

Proclinical is a currently supporting a Medical Technology client based in Germany as they recruit a SAP Consultant to join their team.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• You participate in national and international SAP implementation and roll-out projects
• You support process workflows as well as process optimization and harmonization in the SAP FI/CO environment
• You design and implement new solutions for SAP system optimization and further development with a focus on the FI/CO module
• You will be responsible for implementing, testing and logging new system configurations within assigned projects
• You will take on future requirements for the finance and controlling area and technical implementation in the system and take over the 2nd level support
• You will also can immediately participate in the recently launched S4 upgrade project, including the implementation of Central Finance and Group Reporting (This project will span several years)
• There is also the opportunity to get involved immediately in the recently launched implementation of Global Concur, as well as many other exciting internal opportunities as Karl Storz continues to prioritize the digitization of its global financial operations

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Completed university degree in computer science or finance/controlling, ideally with a focus on IT or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience using SAP FI and/or SAP CO desirable
• Solid integration know-how in the SAP environment and practical experience in the areas of finance, controlling, financial performance management and planning
• Experience in process analysis, design and optimization of financial and controlling processes
• Project experience in implementations, rollouts and migrations
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
