Proclinical is seeking a Sample Management Officer to oversee logistical processes related to reference sample management and global shipment orders. You will serve as the main point of contact for logistics-related requests within the project team, focusing on maintaining quality standards and compliance.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute global shipping orders for pharmaceutical products in regulated environments.
- Prepare samples, including aliquoting, and manage inventory of reference substances both electronically and physically.
- Ensure adherence to cost, quality, quantity, and schedules for all tasks.
- Deliver according to quality standards, ensuring compliance with systems, equipment, and processes.
- Contribute to digital initiatives as a subject matter expert.
- Work in accordance with relevant SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISRM guidelines.
- Utilize complex tools/equipment, laboratory automation tools, and specialized facilities.
- Enhance efficiency and productivity in assigned projects.
- Create raw data documents for handover to internal/external customers.
- Review and approve documents within your area of responsibility.
- Act as the main contact for internal customers and provide guidance to colleagues.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in dispatch planning, pharmaceutical development, or logistics in the GMP area, or equivalent.
- Fluent in site-specific language; basic English proficiency required.
- Experience in global shipping logistics; knowledge in analytical development or manufacturing is advantageous.
- Proficient in software and computer tools; mastery of quality principles (GMP, ALCOA+).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently; management experience is beneficial.
- Hands-on approach and proactive personality.
