Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Biology Research Associate with a pharmaceutical company located in Redwood City, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for molecular biology support of upstream Mammalian Expression efforts.
Construct design and generation, analysis of DNA sequencing data, plasmid preparation, and archiving of DNA samples.

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum 1-year molecular biology experience
Experience in general molecular biology techniques - DNA construct design, PCR, molecular cloning, SDM, plasmid isolation, and DNA sequencing
Experience with Sanger sequencing and DNA analysis software (ie. DNAStar)
Bacterial culture
Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to work collaboratively with fellow team members
