ProClincial is working with one of the fastest growing medical device companies in the APAC region. This medical device company is seeking a Regional Marketing Director to be based in Singapore on a permanent basis.

The Marketing Director will oversee the company's marketing efforts for a specific product area and will coordinate processes related to business planning, strategic marketing plans, portfolio management and development, new product launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing.

Meeting regularly with the company's commercial leadership team this Marketing Director role will establish direction and priorities, and goals and targeted objectives, participate in KOL management, product mastery, strategic planning, portfolio planning, Traditional and Digital Marketing Communications, and partner with the Local Marketing teams to launch new products in the assigned region and ensure alignment with global launch strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support business objectives in the Marketing dept. by developing business plans, product positioning and budgeting.
  • Identify customer needs, monitor competitor's activity and carry out market research.
  • Carry out marketing related projects i.e. market research, brochures, research studies..
  • Analysis of marketing reports that track, post sales duties and business trends.
  • Collaborating with the global, local and APAC marketing team, the marketing director will develop and lead marketing efforts.
  • Working with the clinical and sales teams the role will develop and enhance new and existing products.
  • Using company marketing programs, communicate with customers.
  • Adhere to the markets needs and laws by implementing and evolving marketing activities, including practice and creative development, collateral materials, localization and translation and distribution
  • plan the marketing strategy by evaluating current situation and capacity.
  • Ensure a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness is instilled across the various marketing functions and make certain that all marketing communications are coordinated and support objectives.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with key customers and option and thought leaders with the region.
  • Provide insight and input as part of business reviews and related activities and ensue development and coaching to team members.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years of related work experience is required, Experience in a commercial capacity, i.e., sales, marketing, business development or general management is an advantage
  • Direct people management experience is required
  • Experience with Marketing Excellence/Mastery, including Launch Excellence principles is required. Experience in product development including needs assessment, portfolio management and product lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Strong business partnering skills and collaboration across multiple groups and organizational levels (internal and external) and excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships required.
  • This position may require up to 50% travel including both domestic and/or international and is based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
