Be the backbone of innovation and join a leading pharmaceutical company to help keep life-changing science moving forward! Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Project Plant Engineer.

The successful candidate will act as a technical expert, supporting the delivery of projects across site operations. You will coordinate various engineering work packages and serve as the primary contact for technical aspects of assigned installations, including critical GMP utilities like HVAC and water systems. Your role will involve active participation in investigations and compliance activities, as well as leading design improvements and ensuring project schedules are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for technical aspects of assigned installations.
  • Participate in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to quality and EHS.
  • Lead or support design and qualification of equipment improvements or upgrades.
  • Monitor and approve supplier interventions for equipment.
  • Chair engineering work stream team meetings.
  • Ensure engineering work packages align with project schedules.
  • Challenge over-engineered design solutions and ensure fit-for-purpose designs.
  • Manage scope, risk, and stakeholders for work streams.
  • Respect escalation processes and contribute effectively to portfolio life cycle management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of GMP environments.
  • Degree in mechanical, automation/technical engineering, biotechnology, or related sciences.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in French and English; German is a plus.
  • Experience with PLC/Automation programming (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Allen Bradley) is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Teams, Project, OneNote).
