Proclinical are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role will be on a contract basis and is located in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange vendor actions for commissioning & qualification, maintenance & calibration and/or process improvements.
  • Support the execution and development of suitable engineering specifications and standards.
  • Accountable for guaranteeing that own work complies with GMP, data integrity and GCP and is assumed rendering to suitable processes.
  • You will deliver sustainable improvement demonstrated through KPIs allocated to engineering and in line with safety and quality compliance policies.
  • Assist with project deliverables, which involves right-quality-level needs all in a timely manner.
  • Partake in the broader development of an emerging engineering team and its efficiency to add value in an environment oriented around compliance and ultimately patients benefit.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a linked engineering or scientific field.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a biopharmaceutical setting in a process engineering position.
  • Know-how of cleanroom working.
  • Expertise on biopharmaceutical process operations which involve media and buffer prep, upstream and downstream such as single use bioreactors, centrifuges, UF/DF, TFF, etc.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Acquaintance with working within a start-up organisation would be ideal.
  • Familiarity with fill finish operations is preferable.
  • A background in a variety of biopharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing procedures.
  • Experience with computerised equipment systems and the principles of data integrity, which involves examining and verifying new and current equipment.
  • Past involvement with the needs of commissioning and qualification of process equipment and utilities items.
  • Able to resolve issues.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate self and others.
  • An organised individual with the ability to be innovative as well as present self in a professional manner.
