Proclinical is seeking a Procurement Associate to support procurement and supply chain operations within the rare disease and pharmaceutical industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on streamlining processes, ensuring accuracy in vendor and purchase order management, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize procure-to-pay workflows.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in accounting, purchasing, or procure-to-pay processes.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar systems.
The Procurement Associate's responsibilities will be:
- Create purchase orders and collaborate with approvers to ensure timely release.
- Submit vendor requests, ensuring accuracy of vendor master records and timely approval of new vendors.
- Verify consistent accounting classifications for all purchase order requisitions.
- Partner with Accounts Payable to facilitate efficient invoice processing.
- Support financial analysis through spending reports, income statements, invoice aging, and open purchase order reports.
- Assist internal customers with purchase order requisition needs and streamline the procure-to-pay process.
- Provide support for audits, special projects, and other assignments as required.
