PHP Developer (80-100%)

Proclinical are recruiting a PHP web developer to assist with the development and implementation of scalable web applications in the medical device industry. The position is based in Rotkreuz Zug.

Responsibilities:

• Integration and development of APIs for seamless communication between web services
• Support of customer teams (on site)
• Methodical development and implementation of software solutions together with customers according to requirements and architectural specifications
• Testing and introduction of new technologies in exciting subject areas (medical technology, industrial products, etc.) with high quality standards

Key Skills and Requirements:

• University degree (ETH, Uni, FH) in computer science, business informatics or a similar field of study
• Several years of professional experience in the field of industry and automation or medical technology
• 3+ years of experience in web development with knowledge of front (e.g. HTML, CSS, Twig) and backend technologies (esp. PHP, symfony)
• Experience with relational databases, eg MariaDB
• Experience with web application architectures and design patterns and experience with APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Experience with Git and CICD pipelines
• Experience with agile process models (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• High quality standards for the created solution, documentation and test (unit testing, TDD, BDD); intrinsic motivation to deal with new technologies and quality requirements.
• Business fluent in spoken and written German and good language skills in English
