Proclinical is seeking a Market Access Manager to lead market access initiatives and focus on securing favourable reimbursement outcomes and expanding access within the primary care sector for infectious disease diagnostics. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence payer decisions and help shape the broader healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans to address reimbursement and funding challenges in Germany.
  • Map and define pathways for product adoption, ensuring alignment with local evaluation needs.
  • Evaluate legislative, regulatory, and health technology assessment impacts, providing insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Create localized payer engagement tools to support reimbursement efforts and assist commercial teams in key accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and commercial teams to develop local evidence and translate it into actionable payer tools.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with payers and influencers, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Align cross-functional efforts to ensure effective value communication with local payers.
  • Shape and manage the external healthcare environment by mapping decision-making processes and influencing stakeholders.
  • Represent the market access function in country commercial team meetings.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Possess an advanced degree and relevant professional qualifications.
  • Demonstrated success in market access, with strong relationships across payer networks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payer-provider interactions.
  • Proven experience in the diagnostics industry, particularly in achieving reimbursement for diagnostic products.
  • Strong commercial insight and effective negotiation capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects and setting clear priorities.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Open to travel commitments of up to 50%.
