Proclinical is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team in Neuchatel, Switzerland. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations to achieve quality and productivity goals. You will provide technical expertise for investigating manufacturing process deviations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Manage deviations within production events and quality systems promptly.
- Evaluate impacts on equipment, products, and materials with support from Subject Matter Experts.
- Conduct investigations using root cause analysis tools and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Compile data and write investigation summary reports.
- Define and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Proactively follow up on deviations and propose solutions.
- Report findings to management and act as a Subject Matter Expert during audits.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with experience in biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Technical knowledge of biotechnological processes (USP/DSP).
- Experience in deviation management and Six Sigma tools.
- Proficiency in cGMP environments and detailed manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication skills in French and English.
- Experience with computerized systems (e.g., Trackwise, ERP, Veeva Vault) and MS Office.
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
