Manufacturing Engineer - Contract - Cambridge MA

Proclinical is seeking a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our pharmaceutical client.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Engineer II (MTS) supports late-stage and commercial drug product manufacturing within the Manufacturing Technical Services team. This role contributes to technology transfer, process validation, and continuous improvement to ensure robust manufacturing of RNAi therapeutics.

The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities will be:

  • Support technology transfer, process scale-up, and optimization at CMOs.
  • Assist with deviation assessments, change control documentation, CAPAs, and risk evaluations.
  • Collect and analyze process data, prepare reports and summaries. Contribute to process validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Author process control documents and communicate updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct lab experiments as needed to support development activities
  • Participate in due diligence and technical assessments to ensure readiness for transfer
  • Support the development of process validation protocols and sampling plans. Assist in execution and documentation of validation activities to meet GMP requirements.

Qualifications:

  • S. in a relevant science field; 2+ years of lab or GMP experience.
  • Technology transfer experience and experience working with external vendors or CMOs are a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; JMP experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation:

  • $35 to $40 per hour.
