Lab Manager - Philadelphia, PA - Permanent
Proclinical is seeking a Lab Manager for a dynamic and innovative lab that focuses on understanding chromatin-to-synapse communication during neural circuit activation in the mammalian brain. This is a permanent position located in Philadelphia, PA.

Skills & Requirements:
- Strong organizational and logistical skills.
- Proficiency in operating lab equipment.
- Knowledge of lab safety standards and compliance.
- Experience in inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The Lab Manager will:
- Become proficient in operating all lab equipment and train new lab members.
- Lead negotiations with vendors for equipment replacement and repair.
- Supervise and maintain an orderly, clean, and organized laboratory.
- Lead lab safety efforts, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee lab inventory management.
- Organize lab's cold room, freezers, and maintain lab member space within freezers.
- Allocate bench and desk space and create strategic maps as the lab grows.
- Revise and monitor duty assignments according to feedback from lab members.
- Facilitate animal husbandry paperwork and write up yearly IACUC applications.
- Organize lab social events, meetings, and seminars.
- Coordinate room reservations for lab meetings, committee meetings, and departmental requirements.
- Update the shared lab Google calendar with important meetings, talks, and social events.
- Interview lab candidates and curate applications for initial screenings.
