Proclinical is seeking a Lab Associate to join a dynamic team focusing on Cellular Functional & Soluble Biomarkers. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and implementing biomarker assays to support clinical trials. This position requires a proactive approach to assay development, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering high-quality data.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and transfer biomarker assays for clinical trial support.
- Lead in-house assay development and oversee method transfers to external CRO partners.
- Plan, troubleshoot, and critically analyze results of analytical methods for cellular and protein biomarkers.
- Execute experimental protocols, analyze data, and deliver comprehensive reports aligned with project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and GxP requirements throughout the assay lifecycle.
- Introduce and evaluate novel technologies to enhance biomarker strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure data integrity and resolve technical challenges.
- Present findings and updates in internal and external meetings.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Proven experience in biomarker assay development within a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in biomarker assay technologies, including:
- Cellular and functional assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISpot, HTRF).
- Ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Simoa).
- Hands-on experience in technology implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of GxP principles.
- Experience supporting pharmacodynamic biomarker assay development for preclinical or clinical applications.
- Demonstrated scientific credibility through publications or presentations.
- A proactive team player with a growth mindset and a focus on collaboration and continuous learning.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and agile environment.
