  • Relevant safety, quality, technical-support, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement training.
  • Work may occur in offices, laboratories, stockrooms, staging areas, and equipment-storage locations.
  • Ability to lift and safely handle at least 30 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
  • Onsite presence and travel may be required based on site and business needs.

The R&D Operations Technician's responsibilities will be:

  • Fulfill equipment, device, material, transfer, return, and related support requests through approved request channels.
  • Prepare, inspect, configure, stage, deploy, recover, transfer, and return supported devices and equipment within approved procedures.
  • Maintain accurate asset, inventory, assignment, location, ownership, condition, and lifecycle records in approved business systems.
  • Receive shipments, verify contents, apply required labels or asset tags, store materials in designated locations, and document custody and disposition.
  • Maintain organized stockrooms, staging areas, controlled distribution points, and shared equipment locations using 5S principles.
  • Support routine inventories, reconciliations, asset audits, discrepancy investigation, and corrective record updates.
  • Perform approved basic troubleshooting, configuration checks, reset validation, firmware or application-access support, and escalation to the correct partner team.
  • Coordinate repair, replacement, calibration, preventive maintenance, or specialized support with authorized teams or service providers.
  • Keep request records current with status, decisions, blockers, requester actions, next steps, and completion details.
  • Create and maintain clear how-to guides, process instructions, troubleshooting information, and knowledge resources.
  • Consult with supported teams and recommend approved alternatives when requested devices or equipment are unavailable.
  • Own standard work from intake through completion.
  • Resolve common issues using established procedures and the correct escalation path.
  • Create or update basic documentation for recurring work.

Compensation:
