Lab Assistant - Contract - Fermont CA

Proclinical is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join a dedicated team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on maintaining tissue culture facilities, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and clean room regulations. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures for material transfer and disinfection.

Skills & Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Some laboratory experience
Preferred experience in administrative or operational support
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

The Lab Assistant's responsibilities will be:

Work with lab supplies and manage material transfer
Maintain tissue culture facilities
Monitor and manage inventory
Follow safety and clean room regulations
Read and understand entries in material log books
Transfer supplies and materials to the classified manufacturing area, ensuring proper disinfection
Assist the Quality Assurance team with scanning and archiving documents
Support administrative staff with general housekeeping of the break room and office supply areas
Perform additional operational support duties as required
Restock and order necessary materials for the Product Development (PD) lab
