Proclinical is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead client engagement and drive growth across a defined territory in SE and the capital of UK. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding patient access to biosimilar products by developing and implementing local business plans aligned with national strategies. You will work closely with commissioning and clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities where biosimilar solutions can support the local health economy. This position offers full accountability and autonomy, making it ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving meaningful health system change.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional and strategic account plans to maximize territory sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payors and clinical customers within Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Trusts.
- Promote the value proposition of biosimilar products to ensure optimal positioning and uptake.
- Partner with the NHS to support biosimilar implementation, tender outcomes, and protocol development.
- Utilize digital tools, sales data, and customer insights to inform strategic account management.
- Balance face-to-face and digital interactions to engage decision-makers effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Marketing, and Medical teams to share insights and drive activities.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, including timely documentation of expenses, CRM inputs, and adverse event reporting.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- ABPI qualification.
- Experience in Rheumatology and working with clinical customers, hospital pharmacy, payors, and NHS commissioning stakeholders.
- Proven ability to optimize local pathways and drive health system changes within ICSs and Trusts.
- Strong networking skills to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in pharmaceutical sales.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High scientific and technical knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry.
