Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer / IT Security Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT security team, developing and expanding the security architecture, and creating IT security policies. This role also involves managing cyber risks and cyber intelligence, supporting incident response activities, and advising internal departments on security issues.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the IT security team.
Develop and expand the security architecture, including concepts and processes.
Create IT security policies.
Develop decision-making bases for the introduction of new security components, including system structuring.
Oversee the operation and further development of IT security systems.
Manage cyber risks and cyber intelligence.
Support incident response activities.
Advise internal departments on security issues.

Requirements

Degree in computer science with a specialization in IT security or relevant certification in the IT security field.
Strong experience in security engineering, network knowledge, and familiarity with firewall and zone environments.
Proficient knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, server, client, Azure, Microsoft 365).
Experience in operating IT security solutions.
Experience in an industrial environment.
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
