Proclinical is seeking an ICT Security Expert to join our team. This role will be responsible for operating, maintaining, renewing, and monitoring the network LAN, WAN, firewall, and communications infrastructure. The successful candidate will also manage all security and network services of the ICT infrastructure, providing technical support and collaborating on various security services. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, renew, and monitor network LAN, WAN, firewall, and communications infrastructure.
- Manage all security and network services of the ICT infrastructure.
- Collaborate on services such as EDR/XDR, Vulnerability Management, Firewall, WAF, and Proxy.
- Provide clear and concise technical support to customers.
- Process problem and fault reports from internal and external IT users.
- Monitor and analyse error conditions, defining measures to correct them.
- Contact outsourcing partners for problem management and solution finding.
- Examine complex requirements for feasibility and estimate their impact.
- Collaborate in IT projects.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- Training in the field of security.
- Knowledge of network and firewall (Cisco & Palo Alto Networks).
- Familiarity with products such as Panorama, Cortex XDR, and Tenable.
- Knowledge of VMware, Linux, and Windows is an advantage.
- Proficiency in German (spoken and written) and subject-specific English.
- Strong self-organization, customer, and solution-oriented skills.
- Team player with a motivating and personable personality.
