ICT Cloud Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated ICT Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in our journey towards cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for the development and operation of our network and Linux infrastructure systems and services, working closely with our partners. You will also play a key role in automating our cloud platform and providing self-services for various departments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in the transition to cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and operate network and Linux infrastructure systems and services.
• Automate the company's cloud platform and provide self-services for departments.
• Maintain and debug automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Analyze and optimize systems for security, availability, performance, and costs.
• Consult and train application developers on network and Linux for their cloud journey.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in the cloud infrastructure sector (network, VM, container).
• Proficient knowledge of the network and Docker environment.
• Good understanding of firewall systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Experience with a major cloud service provider, certification is a plus (Cloud Service Provider, LPIC, NSE).
• Ability to think logically and work in agile teams.
• Team player with a hands-on mentality.
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken.
