Head of ERP Design Architecture (m/f/d) - Germany | Full-time
Proclinical is proud to be partnering with a leading client in the biotechnology sector that is undergoing a major ERP transformation. We are currently supporting their search for an experienced and visionary Head of ERP Design Architecture to lead the technical design and governance of their global ERP landscape.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise systems within a highly innovative and mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design of integrated, end-to-end business processes across the ERP ecosystem
- Define and enforce architectural standards in alignment with enterprise-wide objectives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic, future-ready design decisions
- Develop and maintain a long-term technology roadmap in partnership with the Enterprise Architecture team
- Oversee integration between SAP systems, satellite applications, and third-party platforms
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Monitor emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency
- Promote best practices in development and implementation to ensure system quality and performance
Candidate Profile
- Over 20 years of experience in SAP and complex IT environments
- Deep expertise in global ERP design and template development
- Proven leadership in S/4HANA implementation projects, ideally in multinational organizations
- Experience transforming diverse application landscapes into unified, scalable solutions
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture principles
- Skilled in managing technical designs across multi-system environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in matrix structures
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
