Grants Coordinator B- Contract - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grants Coordinator B. This role will support the grants managers within the Special Operations Unit in the Department of Medicine. development.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, assisting in proposal preparation, developing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and serving as backup for purchasing, check requests, and payroll. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing specialized support for multi-divisional project management on complex grants, onboarding support and training for new employees, and pre-award support in budget and proposal
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
The Grants Coordinator B responsibilities will be:
- Create, manage, and track subcontracts, maintain subcontract expenses and log, initiate annual amendments, generate invoices, review incoming invoices, enter receipts, reconcile subcontracts, track receivables.
- Assist with post-award management, focusing on grant and clinical trial closeout, review suspense accounts, research and close PO, review and validate payments, process journals.
- Participate in monthly financial reconciliation across projects, ensure expenses for health care services accounts are posted to contracts, process human subjects payments, post monthly expense and budget journal.
- Review account information sheet and award notices for accuracy, establish budgets within the financial system, monitor and follow up with faculty for prompt completion of Financial conflict of interest and PHS-FITS submission.
- Assist in monthly payroll processing/salary reallocation requests, request advance accounts when appropriate.
- Manage post-award spending related to Type 1 and Type 2 Center pilot awards, prepare monthly summaries, track SIF activity and monitor rate of spending.
