Embedded Development Engineer (remote)

Proclinical are recruiting for an Embedded Development Engineer to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Basel with the ability to work remotely with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for technical training in software engineering with expertise on 'embedded C' and embedded operating systems such as Linux.
• Handle the comprehension of both quality and structured coding, such as clean code.
• Manage the capability of both explaining and visualising SW architecture such as using UML diagrams.
• Ensure the capacity to be a team player and the ability to resolve issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Familiarity within agile development strategy such as Scrum.
• Acquaintance with industrial automation and the convergence of both OT and IT.
• Expertise on object-focused programming such as C++, C#, or Python, as well as source control management such as Git
• Willing to travel for business needs up to 15% of the time.
