Embedded C++ Developer( Medical Device)

Proclinical are recruiting an Embedded C++ Developer (Medical Device) for a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new development such as design, execution, documentation of modular software for anaesthesia workstations such as STM32H7?C, C++14/-20, which involves the construction of functional models and prototypes.
• Handle ground-breaking software development.
• Independently operate rendering to the company's self-produces procedures such as Jira, Confluence, Polarion, etc.
• Produce unit tests and detailed design such as gtest.
• Evaluate the code of other personnel.
• Manage constant integration and automation HIL tests such as Jenkins.
• Accountable for further development of software modules for intensive care ventilators such as STM32H4 ?C, C++11/-17.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a computer science or similar field.
• Capable of acquiring expertise in a structured and independent manner.
• Solid programming abilities such as C++-11 or higher, as well as in an embedded setting.
• Familiarity with unit testing such as gtets.
• Expertise on version control such as git.
• Knowledge on further programming and script languages would be beneficial such as python, bash, latex, cmake, json, yaml, etc.
• Fluency in the German language with knowledge in English.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
