Development Manager - Medical Technology (m/f/x)

Proclinical are recruiting a manager to lead employees' part of the (hardware, software, design transfer) teams. You will also provide technical guidance and organisation of software and hardware development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines, as well as providing oversight and leadership in practical resource and project management for all development activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Train and assist personnel in fields of hardware and software development, as well as reporting to the CEO.
• You will select and integrate external development partners within the development procedure.
• Offer technical leadership and arrange software and hardware development projects by setting conditions, objectives and schedules.
• Promote and assist the culture of novelty within the business.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a mechanical engineering, accurate engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or equivalent training.
• Various years of experience with guiding a development or engineering division along with project management capabilities.
• Knowledge of the development of new products and services within a regulated setting.
• Expertise on the normative needs for medical and in-vitro diagnostic products which involves software (IVDR).
• A pragmatic result focused individual who is creative within a changing setting.
• Interpersonal skills.
• A motivated individual with the willingness to perform well and be flexible.
• Familiarity with software development procedure.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
