Proclinical is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to actively design and expand the company's SIEM / SOAR / XDR solutions with a focus on Microsoft technologies. This role involves working in a motivated team to develop and implement a uniform and modern IT security architecture. The successful candidate will also be responsible for continuous maintenance and further development of a threat matrix for the detection of risks and threats.

Responsibilities:

Design and expand the SIEM / SOAR / XDR solutions and their architecture, focusing on Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure, Sentinel)
Participate in projects aimed at advancing technical and organizational security competencies
Collaborate with our SOC provider and internal teams to develop measures to defend against possible security threats
Work on the development and implementation of a uniform and modern IT security architecture
Maintain and further develop a threat matrix for the detection of risks and threats

Key Skills and Requirements:

Training in computer science and corresponding security certifications or comparable professional experience
Analytical mindset and a passion for tackling problems in innovative ways and achieving practical results
Extensive knowledge in the field of cloud and on-premises security, especially with Microsoft technologies and platforms (especially Microsoft Sentinel and its Azure components)
Experience in the field of vulnerability management, especially in identifying and supporting the remediation of vulnerabilities, as well as in evaluating architectures and solutions with regard to their impact on security and compliance
Good communication skills and fluency in German and English
