Proclinical is seeking a remote CME-Educational Program Director to work with a continuing education institution. This role will be responsible for all aspects of developing live CME events (primarily live symposium and Webcasts) from project inception to completion.
Must be eligible to work or be a citizen in the US.
Job Responsibility:
- A US-based, home-office position responsible for all aspects of project management to develop live continuing education programs and ensure successful project delivery
- Oversees all aspects of the project including but not limited to; budget management, logistics, management of vendors, coordination with internal and external teams including monitoring the content development and recruitment process
- Execute live in-person symposia in conjunction with major medical congresses, according to their specifications and requirements.
- Onsite duties include but are not limited to; overseeing F&B, coordinating AV and ARS, assembling meeting materials and handling boxes, setting up signage throughout the hotel or convention center managing onsite registration, liaising with hotel staff for meeting needs
- Develop live webcasts in conjunction with major medical congresses for their virtual meetings or standalone webcasts not associated with any other main event
- Liaises with the multi-media director to coordinate the scheduling of recordings and live event dates, coordinates the development of registration websites, email and print publicity, participant reminders with production, and oversees virtual platform needs
- Communicate activity's unique specifications and supporter requirements to dedicated team and establish plan of action during activity's internal kick off and maintain details throughout
- Establish trust and create a cohesive relationship with partnering organizations by providing timely and accurate communications with the accredited institution(s), including program updates, supplying application materials, facilitating the CME/CE review, launch announcements, reconciliations, etc.
- Collaborate with Production Team and related vendors in providing quality educational activities to practicing medical professionals, such as announcing activity availability and enrollment procedures.
- Document activity status and implementation of accredited programs within QuickBase and other tracking tools.
- Proactively liaise with and manage priorities among the Editorial Team to meet established deadlines, milestones, and release dates.
- Provide analysis and prepare scheduled and ad hoc comprehensive reports to partnering organizations, senior management, and supporter liaisons.
- Mentor Educational Program Managers on the team and identify opportunities for growth and development within their role and daily tasks.
- Manage logistics for live meetings according to project specifications and budgetary guidelines.
- Manage virtual events on evenings and weekends at times
- Travel to both domestic (~1-2 monthly) and international ~(1-2 yearly) live meetings (including weekends)
Skills and Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting, detail-oriented individual
- At least 3 years of relevant CME/CE project management experience or
- At least 3 years of relevant medical education experience with prior experience working on various delivery formats including online enduring video programs, live audio and video webcasts, live symposia, and grand rounds hospital-based programs
- Strong time management skills, and ability to independently, multi-task, prioritize and organize responsibilities in order to meet goals and timelines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid leadership skills with ability to work as a team player and independently.
- Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple projects; meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure
- Preferred candidate will have experience and current relationships working with CME coordinators, department heads, physician practice managers, etc. at hospitals, physician practices, etc. placing regularly-scheduled series/Grand Rounds-type educational meetings
- Must be vaccinated for Covid-19
