Proclinical is seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer to join our client's team in Zurich. This role focuses on managing and enhancing network security solutions within cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with on-prem infrastructure. We are looking for someone who can proactively monitor and respond to security incidents, develop automation tools, and support internal teams with secure configurations.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and document network security solutions in the cloud.
Plan and implement network security designs and optimizations.
Monitor network and security infrastructure, analyze faults, and troubleshoot issues.
Respond to security incidents and threats, including on-call service.
Develop automation tools for network security tasks.
Support teams in configuring secure network services and implementing security policies.

Key Skills and Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of public cloud, IaC/Terraform, ZTNA, WAF, proxies, firewalling, routing, and switching.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Zscaler, Cloudflare, and similar technologies.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a keen interest in new technologies.
Technical education in computer science, cloud technologies, or telecommunications.
Fluent in German and proficient in English.
