Clinical Research Lab Coordinator - Contract - Longmont, CO

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Research Lab Coordinator to support the execution of research studies by managing laboratory requirements and ensuring compliance with study protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves handling biological specimens, maintaining lab equipment, and collaborating with the study team to ensure smooth study operations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in phlebotomy.
- Experience with laboratory processing.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification and/or relevant experience preferred.
The Clinical Research Lab Coordinator's responsibilities will be:
- Acquire and maintain required training, including SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and IATA certification for hazardous goods shipment.
- Participate in study-specific training and maintain relevant medical licenses or certifications as applicable.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards while maintaining a positive attitude towards clients.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure workspaces and equipment are clean and functional.
- Manage laboratory supplies, including ordering, inventory, and storage.
- Review lab manuals and package inserts to determine laboratory requirements for each study.
- Collect, process, store, and package biological specimens for shipment as per study protocols and lab manuals.
- Monitor and document the temperature of onsite laboratory samples daily, addressing any deviations promptly.
- Schedule courier pick-ups for sample shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain access to lab portals, resolve lab queries, and ensure lab reports are reviewed, signed, and filed appropriately.
- Record accurate study data in source documents and maintain a record of stored samples.
- Assist with study-related procedures, including start-up, conduct, and close-out activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- $20 to $24 per hour
