Cell Therapy Specialist- Contract - Frederick, MD

Proclinical is seeking a Cell Therapy Specialist who will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the manufacture of commercial products. This role involves following batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Materials Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.

Skills & Requirements:

BA / BS Degree in Sciences Field or equivalent experience.
Experience in a cGMP environment is beneficial.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

The Cell Therapy Specialist responsibilities will be:

Troubleshoot processing and equipment issues, communicating these issues to management.
Complete required training assignments to maintain necessary technical skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements.
Author and/or revise SOPs that are technically sound, provide clear instructions, align with cGMP requirements, and support efficient operations.
Monitor, clean, prepare, and operate sophisticated automated cell processing, cell expansion, and filling equipment in Grade B/C clean rooms.
Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance, assisting with investigations/deviations and change controls.
