C/C++ Software Developer

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Embedded Real-Time Applications Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, specification, and verification of embedded real-time applications for avionic systems. This role requires a team player who is eager to contribute to the co-design of the software architecture and the improvement of the airspace-simulation and test environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, specify, and verify embedded real-time applications (C, C++) for avionic systems according to DO-178C or research projects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Contribute to the design of the software architecture
• Improve the airspace-simulation and test environment
• Further develop and improve the toolchain (Jenkins, Gitlab, Python, Container, etc.)
• Plan your working day independently, efficiently, and flexibly together with the team

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Programming experience in C, C++
• Experience with agile software development methods
• Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a high level of perseverance and analytical ability
• Team player with a curious mindset
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, and Rust is desirable
