Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Embedded Real-Time Applications Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, specification, and verification of embedded real-time applications for avionic systems. This role requires a team player who is eager to contribute to the co-design of the software architecture and the improvement of the airspace-simulation and test environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, specify, and verify embedded real-time applications (C, C++) for avionic systems according to DO-178C or research projects
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Contribute to the design of the software architecture
Improve the airspace-simulation and test environment
Further develop and improve the toolchain (Jenkins, Gitlab, Python, Container, etc.)
Plan your working day independently, efficiently, and flexibly together with the team

Key Skills and Requirements:

Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Programming experience in C, C++
Experience with agile software development methods
Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a high level of perseverance and analytical ability
Team player with a curious mindset
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, and Rust is desirable
