Buyer II- Contract- Plainsboro, New Jersey
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and proactive Buyer II for a pharmaceutical company. This role involves supporting various business stakeholders by reviewing purchase requests and administering contract requests as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for deciding on appropriate purchase channels for incoming requests, ensuring compliance with purchasing and contracting policies, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
This role requires a strong focus on stakeholder experience, with the Buyer II expected to collaborate effectively with various departments during the sourcing, review, negotiation, and execution of contracts and projects across multiple categories.

- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of purchasing and contracting policies.
- Experience in contract management and procurement.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
The Buyer II's responsibilities will be:
- Identify the most suitable transaction path for each case, considering the needs of procurement, legal, and reviewing departments.
- Conduct purchasing activities for low-risk commodities.
- Support contract process and management activities, upholding organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient handling of requests.
- Provide timely support to inquiries relating to contracts and assist with training users on recurring issues.
- Engage internal stakeholders in negotiation decisions and incorporate their input into contracts.
- Monitor contract progress to ensure turnaround time is within prescribed guidelines, providing timely updates to Contract Owners.
- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate contract status proactively to stakeholders.
Compensation
- USD 35-39 Per Hour
