An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager, with a clinical background. In this role you will be developing strategies to generate new business opportunities. This company has various offices across Europe and are now searching someone to join them

Skills and Requirements

  • Devising telephone contact strategies to generate new business opportunities
  • Proactively contacting potential customers through the use of cold calling and warm calling
  • Preparing weekly a list of potential and current customers to communicate and manage, conforming to the deadlines indicated by the person responsible for phone calls and appointments
  • Visiting customers and introducing to them accurately and professionally the activities of the company
  • Facilitating the meeting and dialogue between the various customer managers and the company, accommodating conference calls and face-to-face meetings
  • Keeping in contact with potential customers during the process of client acquisition, complying to the timing for communication and customer management
  • Enhancing and improving existing relationships with customers in the company portfolio
  • Organising and participating in briefings with clients and partners, stimulating and collecting feedbacks on projects entrusted to the company.
  • Taking note and sharing the information gathered with the company management. After sharing it with the administration, ensuring that the information in possession of the customers is kept confidential
  • Identifying the development of business opportunities for existing customers (upselling or cross-selling);
  • Identifying, using market and competitor knowledge, the opportunities that will lead to increase sales;
  • Planning the various activities, identifying the priorities for actions to achieve sales targets;
  • Adequately using sales media and company documentation to improve the productivity of the visit or presentation;

Skills andRequirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Life Science Area
  • At least one of experience in clinical research, preferably in the Clinical Project Manager position
  • Knowledge of the organisation and company assets
  • Ability to manage all activities regarding the Business Development
  • Fluent in English
  • Monitoring the revenues of projects by promptly reporting any deviations
