(BCALM) IDM Specialist - Contract - Armonk, NY

Drive the contracts that drive cancer research-be the force keeping IDMC operations precise, compliant, and on track.

Proclinical is seeking a Business Contract Administration and Lifecycle Management (bCALM) IDMC Specialist to support clinical study teams in managing contracting and oversight activities for Independent Data Monitoring Committees (IDMCs).

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will ensure participant safety, data integrity, and trial efficacy in oncology-focused clinical studies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate the successful execution and maintenance of IDMC contracts. This position requires onsite presence four days per week in Armonk, NY, and is not eligible for remote work.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of contract management lifecycle and clinical development operations.
  • Experience progressing IDMC member contracts, including external non-HCP vendors.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and achieve business objectives.
  • Comfortable engaging with external providers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting fundamentals.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences experience preferred; direct clinical trial support is ideal.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in business operations, procurement, or contract administration (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience supporting clinical trial teams (minimum 2 years).

The (BCALM) IDM Specialist's responsibilities will be:

  • Independently manage assigned responsibilities, proactively addressing stakeholder needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal support functions to ensure efficient contract progression.
  • Monitor IDMC activities to ensure timely payment processing for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and third-party vendors.
  • Prepare and distribute Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure Forms for potential IDMC members.
  • Request Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA) from legal representatives and provide necessary business and financial information for IDMC consulting agreements.
  • Facilitate the review, approval, and signature process for IDMC consulting agreements.
  • Notify relevant stakeholders once agreements are fully executed.
  • Initiate contracting processes for Statistical Data Analysis Center (SDAC) vendors in collaboration with procurement teams.
