Biotechnologist

Proclinical is seeking a skilled Biotechnologist to join a dynamic and innovative team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in manufacturing activities within a cGMP environment, focusing on drug product production. This position involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting process improvements. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manufacturing activities for drug products in compliance with cGMP guidelines.
• Ensure safe and timely batch execution, evaluate test results, and resolve issues.
• Provide technical and procedural support to the manufacturing team.
• Prepare, execute, and review production documentation, including batch records and GMP documents.
• Support investigations, decision-making, and process changes related to production issues.
• Contribute to corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) within required timelines.
• Train team members and new joiners in relevant operational areas.
• Operate, set up, and clean production equipment for liquid and freeze-dried drug forms, such as compounding, parts washing, autoclaving, filter integrity testing, and visual inspection.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in a GMP environment, preferably in sterile drug product manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English or German; fluency in both is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements, quality procedures, and SOP execution.
• Strong team orientation and effective communication skills.
• Structured, focused, and well-organized working style.
• High motivation and dynamic drive.
• IT knowledge, including SAP and MES, is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift pattern.
