Biologist

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Biologist with a biopharmaceutical company located in North Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities:

• qPCR analysis including nucleic acid extraction on multiple platforms/sample types.
• Precise and accurate pipetting skills
• maintain a sterile environment to prevent DNA contamination and eliminate cross contamination between samples
• Candidate will be working independently as well as in a team.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in general biology or other related field, with a focus in molecular biology.
• Two years of molecular biology laboratory experience preferred.
• Able to accurately utilize a pipette using small volumes
• Demonstrate good documentation practices
