Automation Expert

Proclinical is seeking an Automation Expert to join a dynamic team at our client's facility. In this role, you will contribute to exciting projects such as technology transfers and the introduction of new technologies. This position focuses on driving automation initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure operational excellence.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update automation-related specifications.
• Perform off-line and on-line coding, testing, and peer reviews.
• Lead the design, development, and execution of Automation Change Records (ACRs), Quality Change Records, and control qualification/commissioning test documentation.
• Act as the automation lead for unit operations, ensuring efficient issue resolution and change implementation for large-scale projects.
• Assess proposed changes and evaluate discrepancies during manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot process equipment and system malfunctions or failures.
• Contribute to the development of policies and standards for automation at the site.
• Implement innovative approaches within automation to improve quality and efficiency.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Strong expertise in automation systems and processes.
• Proven ability to develop and update technical specifications.
• Experience with coding, testing, and peer review processes.
• Skilled in managing change records and commissioning documentation.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving equipment/system issues.
• Ability to assess and implement process improvements effectively.
• Business-fluent English language skills are required.
