Proclinical is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer, HVAC for a temporary contract position of 12 months which is based in Stein, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, configuration, commissioning, qualification and the reliable and compliant operation of the HVAC control system(s) installed at the site.
- Provide design support for the generation and configuration of the DeltaV system configuration for the following utility systems which are monitored and controlled by the DeltaV DCS.
- Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the classified and non-classified areas within the site manufacturing and utility areas.
- Environmental Monitoring System consisting of room monitoring conditions including differential pressure, humidity and temperature parameters.
- Air Lock Control Systems for the personal and material air lock controls to the clean rooms in the manufacturing areas.
- Review and approve Automation Requirements, Design, Test, Qualification and Validation documentation.
- Provide guidance and technical direction to the external System Integrator for the generation and testing of the DeltaV DCS software configuration.
- Support software FATs and SATs by approving documents and witnessing on behalf of Lonza as the Lonza Automation Representative.
- Support the integrated commissioning of the DeltaV system software, hardware and interfaces to the HVAC and associated systems listed above.
- Support the reliable operation of the HVAC control systems by providing hands on support to trouble shoot control system software and hardware issues.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or trade qualification in Engineering (Electrical / HVAC / Process Control, or related field).
- Detailed understanding of HVAC system design and operation, including design and operation of HVAC systems for Grade C & D clean rooms.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of the Automation team.
- Strong experience in process control system design and configuration experience.
- Proven working history in DeltaV DCS hands on design and configuration experience.
- Experience in the Life Sciences Industries
- Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Requirements and Codes of Practices for automated system, including CFR 21 Part 11, GAMP 5 2nd Edition.
