Proclinical is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our Potency Bioassay group.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role will support routine potency testing activities, requiring analytical thinking and accurate documentation practices.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field, with strong hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture techniques
- Demonstrated precision in pipetting for serial titrations.
- Proficiency in sterile technique and cell maintenance is essential for the success of our bioassays.
- The successful candidate will assist with bioassay execution, data collection, and analysis of dose-response curves under supervision.
- Enjoys working in a laboratory-based role with strong support for skill and career development
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Associate Scientist: Potency Bioassays' responsibilities will be:
- Culturing mammalian cells and engineering cell lines
- Characterizing cells and reagents by flow cytometry
- Developing cell-based potency assays in 96-well
- Analyzing data and troubleshooting experiments
- Maintaining accurate and reliable records including electronic notebooks and all other pertinent documentation
