Associate Director/Director of Toxicology

At Proclinical, we are seeking an individual to fill the role of Associate Director/Director of Toxicology, based in Boton, MA. The ideal individual will be able to successfully navigate a fast-paced, highly-networked team environment.

Responsibilities

• Possess a strong understanding of the drug development process.
• Interface effectively and knowledgeably with related disciplines.
• Design and execute strategically-sound nonclinical development programs and studies required to support drug candidate advancement and regulatory filings.
• Lead and manage non-clinical studies/programs.
• Prepare and evaluate written scientific and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate on design of investigative toxicology studies in support of development compounds or platform technology assessments.
• Collaborate on investigative toxicology study design.
• Interact cross-functionally with drug safety and metabolism groups, project teams, etc.
• Prepare global regulatory submissions and associated documentation.
• Support and mentor less senior toxicologists and scientists.
• Guide establishment of organizational expertise around the discipline of toxicology and safety.

Skills And Qualifications

• PhD in toxicology, pathology, or related discipline.
• 9+ years' industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
