Associate Director - Digital Strategy

Associate Director, Digital Strategy - Permanent - Boston, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the North America's digital strategy and implementation roadmap. This is a permanent position located in Boston, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in aligning digital capabilities, data, and solutions with business objectives and priorities. The successful candidate will advise commercial business units on all aspects of the digital ecosystem, balancing deep digital expertise in life sciences with strong business acumen to drive decisions that maximize the impact of digital investments.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree; MBA is a plus.
• Experience in managing digital programs and capabilities in the Life Sciences/Medical Device industry.
• Experience in managing digital operations in a regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging digital technologies in the life sciences industry.
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of key digital engagement channels, such as Web, SEO, SEM, Email, Social, Paid Media.
• Experience with relevant life sciences digital platforms such as Veeva PromoMats/CLM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Health Cloud, Drupal or similar.
• Excellent influencing skills and ability to work collaboratively with key business partners, IT leadership teams, and external service providers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex environment.
• Budget management experience associated with digital procurement and enablement.

The Digital Strategy Associate Director will:

• Co-define and drive the Digital-First strategy for North America, inclusive of data, analytics, and other technologies.
• Develop and lead digital strategy capabilities in alignment with brand objectives.
• Collaborate with business units on digital customer and patient engagement.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in digital solutions.
• Build a scalable and compliant foundation to deliver business objectives.
• Identify and address gaps in current digital capabilities and propose new solutions.
• Advise on appropriate use of digital capabilities and best practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation and agile ways of working with strategic partners.
• Collaborate with Global IT and Digital functions to ensure appropriate system architecture and adherence to security/privacy strategy.
• Oversee key supplier relationships for execution of digital initiatives.

Compensation:

• $210,000 per annum
