The successful candidate will be involved in collecting environmental samples, managing training and supplies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will also be responsible for identifying and communicating any deviations or potential issues.
Skills & Requirements:
- A degree in biology, microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in quality control or production within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is beneficial.
- Knowledge of standard aseptic technique.
- Computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Ability to follow procedures and document results accurately.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work in a multi-skilled team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Integrity and ability to balance multiple priorities and responsibilities.
The Aseptic Sampler's responsibilities will be:
- Collect samples for environmental monitoring, including air and surface samples.
- Organise daily sampling activities and ensure all paperwork and submissions meet company standards.
- Manage supplies and equipment, including ordering and maintenance.
- Handle special projects such as abnormal test results and validation studies.
- Ensure all documentation, records, and logs are complete and accurate.
- Update and write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train new staff.
- Work independently on rotating shifts, performing normal routines and emergency procedures.
- Report on operations and any deviations from specifications to the area manager.
- Comply with all safety and operating procedures, regulations, and industry practices.
