APAC IT Infrastructure Specialist

Proclinical are recruiting for an APAC IT Infrastructure Specialist to join a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the IT DR and BCP exercise to guarantee the operational readiness of the company subsidiaries' disaster recovery and business continuity abilities in the event of major disaster or crisis.
• Partake in the international IT shared services delivery method.
• Accountable for pertinent local infrastructure services in scope of the role, which involves quality of IT deliveries and performance of solution.
• Guarantee suitable life cycle management which involves technological devices of the company subsidiaries infrastructure landscape rendering to IT policies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the region of arrangement and questions linked to the infrastructure and offering end user assistance which involves user training.
• You will capture local contributions and service demands and offer routine feedback to pertinent international IT value teams which involves decision assistance.
• Contribute to the regional security or regulatory audits in infrastructure areas.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in an engineering or similar field.
• Expertise on networking and server management.
• Cybersecurity appetence.
• Demonstrable work experience.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Know-how of the life science organisation would be ideal.
• Acquaintance within the digital workplace assistance such as workstation, mobile, remote assistance MDMD, etc., as well as of cloud technology, SaaS, 0365, Azure, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint mgmt., etc.
• Knowledge of Network Engineering: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SDWAN.
• Expertise on ITIL service management
• Project Management prior involvement would be ideal.
• Vendor Management experience with regional exposure would be preferable.
• Works well in a team with solid leadership skills.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Pedagogy and troubleshooting skills.
• Works well independently.
• A resourceful individual who is a self-starter and self-learner.
• Computer literacy.
